I’v been traveling to LA about twice a year for the past 9 years so this post is way over due. I usually stay in West Hollywood and have come to think of this area as my second home. If I did not have my children I would have moved to Cali after my first visit.
I love the weather, street art, food, views, and everything else LA offers. So just recently I took my youngest son with me to my favorite city and was forced to explore in a different way, but the posts on how to explore LA as a family will come later.
So here are all the spots to indulge in if you go visit this busy city.
Hotel Orlando- boutique hotel on the perfect street to walk and dine.
Toast Bakery- I found this breakfast spot years ago and have made it a ritual to visit each time, make sure you don’t come super hungry because there will be a wait more than likely.
Dialogue Cafe- Every time I visit the owners make me feel so welcomed and the fresh juice is always pouring. They serve breakfast and lunch.
Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles- The best Chicken and Waffles ever.
Bossa Nova: Brazilian deliciousness!!
Melrose- plenty of boutique shopping but my favorite store to visit is Nasty Gal
Beverly Center- grab a bite to eat, a movie, and shop at some of the most trendy stores
Venice Beach- I love to come here and enjoy the skateboarders, breakdancers, and rent a bike to ride the sidewalk along the beach. It’s also a great place to people watch and peek into the homes of the residence from the beach.
Malibu- This city is so much fun! The beaches are pretty, the restaurant Nobu serves an awesome brunch on the weekends, and Malibu Country Mart offers retail and relaxation.
