Mommy and Son Date Ideas

By May 2, 2017 No Comments

Being a mother of 4 children full-time (I have a bonus daughter who visits during the summer and holidays)  has robbed my first born of the attention he had grown accustomed to and craves on the daily basis. And as of lately, he has expressed very little interest in the activities we do as a family and often requests that he hangs out solely with his dad or me. Considering his youngest brother is 4, it safe to say that all, if not most of our activities are preschool friendly.

I understand his frustrations and I also agree that it’s so important for us to spend more one-on-one time together because license, girlfriends, and dorm life aren’t too far away.

I know once he enters into his teenage years I most likely will be the last concern on his list of people to hang with.

So, I decided to compile a list of all the fun things he and I could do together. Check it out below:

  • Weekend Trips
  • Gaming Competitions
  • Concerts
  • Zip lining
  • Hiking
  • Eating Out
  • Volunteering
  • Charity Events
  • Overnight Trips
  • Lunch Date
  • Take a Bike Ride
  • Go-Karts
  • Theater Event
  • Indoor Rock Climbing
  • Arcade
  • Shopping
  • Horseback Riding
